Cop cruisers you want to cruise in

Here in Malaysia, we are obviously not a fan of the cruising cops and their cruisers. Often at the back of our minds, we wish to witness a car chase between the cops and the criminals involving supercars. While the criminals may drive one, our cops are stuck swerving in something less cool. Cop cruisers from other countries though – they are the BOMB! Check out our list below:

DUBAI – Bugatti Veyron
In Abu Dhabi, the Bugatti Veyron is one of its fabulous roadsters. The beast can run at 429.695 km/h, which probably makes it the fastest car on this list. However, sorry to crush your dreams – this one is not assigned to chase and run down the criminals. It is more like an ornament purposed to display of Dubai’s wealth.

SOUTH AFRICA – Lamborghini Gallardo
You cannot outrun the South African cops, especially in their Lambo. Built with an outrageous V10 engine that can generate 570 horsepower and has a range of 766.048 km/h, no one can stress how fast the Lamborghini Gallardo is. Aside from South Africa, the cops in Italy and the United Kingdom get to cruise around in this too.

ENGLAND – Lamborghini Murcielago
With its speed, power, and aerodynamic body, the Lamborghini Murcielago is a gangster on the road once modified for the cops. Under the hood is a 10-cylinder V9 engine that roars with a maximum 550 horsepower and a top speed of 320.259 km/h. To outrun this speedster is pointless.

THE NETHERLANDS — Spyker C8 Spyder
While the Spyker C8 Spyder might look more like it should be driven by the fun cops than the actual cops, if need to, the car is capable of seriously eating up the tarmac. Powered by a 400 horsepower, Audi 4.2L V8 engine, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 301 km/h.

ENGLAND – Caparo T1
Now, this is badass! According to a press release, the Caparo T1 RRV is powered by a 575 horsepower 3.5-liter V8 that is capable of accelerating from a cop lay-by to 160.934 km/h in just 5 seconds and onto a top speed of 321.869 km/h. The F1-inspired T1 only has two seats. So, once the suspects are caught, you will have to wait for backup to take them downtown.
